10 questions with Savaiah

How did you get into creating music?

My answer was always the same growing up ever since I could talk. My dream is to become a singer. Now it's not just a dream; it's more destiny and a plan. I had a love for music at a very young age growing up in choirs, musical theatre, and music groups/bands. For the past few years, I started taking my songwriting more seriously and experimented with it for a while. I wasn't amazing overnight. It took time and even maturing, but I am finding my way. I always knew my time would come to create my own music and be the artist I was born to be.

Where do you get your inspirations from?

Listening to music like a musician. I listen to exceptional songs from a musical perspective and gather ideas/inspiration. I love an artist who is uniquely themselves; it inspires me to not put my music in a 'box.' I can create whatever I choose, mixing sounds, writing techniques, and genres.
