10 questions with Patinda

How did you get into creating music?

The very first thing that got me into the field of music is drums (my fav instrument!). I’ve been playing drums since I was 11 (now 16). But if talking about what got me into making music, I first started off with DJ. When I was 13, I wanted to become a DJ like Skrillex. At that time, I listen to dubstep 24/7. So, I tried to produce one of them by myself using Abelton but then I realized that EDM isn’t my style when it comes to producing. At the same time, I discovered Girl In Red, making me SO obsessed with this style of music. So, again, I taught myself how to produce and write this kind of music.

Where do you get your inspirations from?

Movies, my own life experiences and others’, old music my dad introduced me to, some random quotes I found on Pinterest I find interesting.

Where is your favourite place you have ever performed?

I haven’t performed in any places yet as a solo artist, but I’m also a drummer in a band and we’ve performed in many shows. My two favorite places to perform is gotta be at Lido Connect. It’s in the middle of the Bangkok city! And at the University open house ( for the opening act ). The stage was so big and so many people are watching us play. It was so cool!
